In the heart of the Regional Park of Monteveglio Abbey, the landscape of the Bolognese Hills attracts visitors enchanted by the views of endless vineyards, fruit trees, wheat fields and the bright red brick country houses typical of the countryside around Bologna, a panorama in which man’s hand has worked for centuries in harmony with unspoiled nature.

Here, in 1989, the Corte D’Aibo Winery was founded thanks to the passion of Antonio Capelli and Mario Pirondini who took over the 35 hectare complex, transforming it into their “crazy” project: going back to the hill, embracing a slower and more respectful rhythm of the earth, preserving the environment through the practice of organic agriculture, then at it’s dawn, to produce wines that tell the story of a territory but also the personal and shared story of work, love and return to the roots..
